    Secretariat<\/u><\/h3>\n

    The Secretariat conducts the correspondence of the Foundation, draws up the work schedule of the staff and maintains the books of Personnel, Food, movable and immovable property of the Foundation. It has the supervision, together with the Director, of all property and replaces him when he is absent or unable to attend.<\/p>\n

    Medical Services<\/span><\/h3>\n

    At our Institution we provide daily medical monitoring and 24-hour care from trained nursing staff who:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • monitors and administers medication to residents,<\/li>\n
    • offers assistance in personal hygiene care - clothing and feeding<\/li>\n
    • monitoring of security issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The manager, a graduate of TEI, supervises the Nursing Staff, deals with the management of the drug warehouse, orders for drugs and health materials, and ensures that the instructions of the Doctors are followed. Finally, our unit collaborates with other nursing units and the EOPYY.<\/p>\n

      Therapeutic Programs<\/u><\/h3>\n

      The Social Worker, with the assistance of staff members and volunteers, implements programs that aim to:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Creative and psychological activities (memory games, painting, building structures, puzzles, newspapers, magazines, television, etc.)<\/li>\n
      • Maintaining, as much as possible, as many abilities and social skills (speech, memory, sense of direction, etc.)<\/li>\n
      • Stress reduction (creating a pleasant climate, music therapy, etc.)<\/li>\n
      • Emotional support<\/li>\n
      • Expression of emotions in groups and individual sessions<\/li>\n
      • Social interaction through group activities.<\/li>\n
      • Organization of social and psychological events, e.g. holidays, excursions, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Every person is unique, with their own needs and preferences, and for this reason, at our Foundation everyone is treated individually.<\/p>\n

        Physiotherapy \u2013 Kinesiotherapy<\/u><\/h3>\n

        Our Foundation has an equipped physiotherapy room, where two specialized physiotherapists contribute to the treatment of serious problems.<\/p>\n

        • Rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries and neurological diseases.<\/li>\n
        • Strokes.<\/li>\n
        • Degenerative diseases of the CNS (Central Nervous System)<\/li>\n
        • Quadriplegia \u2013 paraplegia<\/li>\n
        • Rheumatoid diseases<\/li>\n
        • Neurosurgical diseases<\/li>\n
        • Orthopedic diseases, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Rehabilitation devices used in the organized physiotherapy center are:<\/u><\/p>\n

          • Low-frequency current electrotherapy.<\/li>\n
          • Ultrasonic waves.<\/li>\n
          • Infrared \u2013 Ultraviolet radiation<\/li>\n
          • Diathermy<\/li>\n
          • Warm compresses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\n\n<\/div>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n
